Fewdio Has a Chilling Short Movie

Fewdio.com is an excellent source of short horror films. What I love about it... Well, watch the damn thing first. Don't want to spoil it. I'll post some commentary later.

  1. Brrr, that got me. — at first, anyway. It should've just ended with the thing's eyes looking back. I don't want to know what happens>. That ruins everything!

    And she'd never have reached over like that. She'da frozen stiff and/or jumped out of her skin. I mean, you can sell me pillow demons, but no housewife is that stupid.

  2. Couldn't agree more. It needed to be a 1/2 second shorter. They had it, and then overplayed it.Still, I think the set up was nicely handled and the monster was great. I have to give them the goal, even with the end zone dance there.

    I'm going to post more about it, because I think it demonstrates something about horror.

  3. Fewdio has some really great shorts. At their best, they really touch on those subtle, everyday things that can really unsettle you.

    If you haven't already, check out "Mockingbird." I think that one improves on the length issue present in "Bedfellows." It's just the simple setup, a chilling realization, and a horrible conclusion that slaps you in the face and is over before you even realize it.
